Good design doesn’t become obsolete.

Stop the
mass production of innovationand start recycling.

My Past

All observations from past projects and experiences have accumulated to produce personal perspectives on the purpose of design and my place within it.

I’m a designer with a special interest in manipulating the materiality of an object relative to it’s context to boost it’s functionality and ethicality.

The right details can give enormous strength to a design, and making something as simple as possible but not too simple is the way to achieve satisfactory product intuitiveness .

My ideal job would be a material advisor in a design team where I can use my expertise to oversee responsible usage of materials and respectful treatment of environments, and be the connection between modern chemistry and the market.

Contemporary manufacturing is based on generating high profit margins, whereas the large scale industry should instead bases their efforts around sustainable and circular procedures.

Designers need to acknowledge that they are not only located at the beginning of manufacturing-, but also discardment cycles; and as such hold immense responsibility in leaving overabundant production in the past.

The consumption of new resources is only justified when creating products or services that offer an experience that isn’t yet accessible through other means.

My Present

My Future

what will it look like?

During the Bachelor Industrial Design a broad understanding across several design and engineering fields was constructed.

As I continue my next endeavour at the Ecology Futures program I believe that a set of core concepts will stay relevant to help me gain situated knowledge and make a meaningful change to the industry.
